Draft plan of subdivision submitted for review

The Camino LSLV project team has been busy!  We’d like to share a brief update here.

Earlier this year, Avenue 31 and its project team submitted a Draft Plan of Subdivision application to the Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glenngarry. This draft plan shows the proposed alignment of a new county road, as well as the phasing and layout of the industrial employment lands, and follows on the heels of the master plan that has been shared since 2021.

Other recent work has included the environmental assessment for a new proposed intersection at County Road 35 and Highway 401 on Ministry of Transportation property. The proposed development will follow the existing zoning on the property and the Official Plan of the Township of South Stormont and the planning and engineering requirements of the Counties of SDG and the Province. No amendments to the zoning or the Official Plan are proposed.

How can I get involved?

On Thursday, April 13, an open house has been organized to give community members and other interested individuals a chance to learn more about recent developments

The drop-in open house will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community Hall, Township of South Stormont Office. Those in attendance will include representatives from the Township of South Stormont, the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and the Avenue 31 project team.
