The Camino Inland Port at Long Sault is coming soon.

The Camino Inland Port at Long Sault is a 680-acre multi-modal transportation hub being developed in Long Sault, Ontario.

The Plan

Local benefits of the project will include the creation of up to 1,000 to 1,500 jobs, a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for the transportation of goods, the potential of new services and public spaces to benefit area residents and visitors, and annual revenue generation from long-haul shipping services.

Currently, there are nine logistics customers located within 100 kilometres of the site.

The Camino Inland Port at Long Sault will be a freight and goods-movement hub, providing connection between rail and highway transportation corridors. It will also include warehousing or distribution centres that are dependent on rail and highway.

It will be used by companies involved in e-commerce, bulk goods and commodities, agricultural products, consumer goods and natural resources to distribute products around the globe. There may also be manufacturing facilities in addition to logistics services.
